Book a Session with Rawhide's Tintypes

Either a family or solo session consisting of 5 portraits (three 5x7, two 8x10), indoors or outdoors (dependent on weather). Session cost listed, travel costs may be included dependent on location. Additional portrait(s) may be added at discounted price. Set aside 3-4 hours (wardrobe changes, location changes/setup, posing, talking through each shot).

Hire me to be a fun & unique part of your next big event! Weddings, graduation parties, birthdays, corporate events,  galas of any size. Indoors/outdoors, day/night. 3 hour minimum, travel cost may be included dependent on location. Count on 4-5 images per hour (more if assistant is available). Choice of 4x5 or 5x7 images. 

I love shooting engagements! Whether it's a surprise (or maybe everyone knows?)  I'm a huge fan of engagement shoots. Base price includes 3 images (up to 90 minutes), and more time/images can be added at a discounted rate. Two 5x7's, and one 8x10. Travel cost may be included dependent on location. Car/bike portraits are among my favorites! We can make some unique, stellar portraits of your vehicle, indoors or out, running or not. Travel cost may be included dependent on location. (Boats, planes, bicycles, buses, skateboards, a pair of shoes, tanks, and aircraft carriers also  qualify). Immortalize your special vehicle on metal, and even make a larger print on canvas afterward if you are feeling a tad bit wild. Contact me and we can work out the details. Minimum 2 images. (Plan on 90 min)

A couple of classic images at the location of your choice: Home, school, downtown, the lake, you name it. One 5x7 and one 8x10 image. I created this SUPER-DISCOUNTED rate because graduates are amazing, and I struggled to afford my senior photos. Also, I know these will most likely be in addition to the senior yearbook photos, so I get that costs add up for our graduates. Just my way of giving back. Travel fees may apply depending on location, & additional plates may be purchased if time allows.

These are one-of-a-kind images where I was fortunate enough to able to capture multiple shots of at a given time. They are not copies or reproductions, rather stand alone images where I had the opportunity to capture as many individual shots as the circumstances & weather allowed. Generally shot on 4x5, 5x7 or 8x10 formats. Signed and numbered. 

These are more rare, as the image is a legitimate "one-off" plate and won't ever be duplicated. Comes with a written description of the image, including the technical details of how the image was captured, along with a high resolution digital copy. Generally shot in 5x7 or 8x10 format. Signed and numbered, "1 of 1."

These are some of my favorite images, reproduced on the highest quality archival canvas available. These images can be ordered in several sizes, and in a very limited run. Once they are gone, they won't ever be printed again, guaranteed. Keep your eye open for new additions. I may have one or two of these canvases at my pop-up events. 

I will almost always have a fresh batch of hand made cards, featuring either a copy of (or an actual) tintype on the front of the card. Seasonal, birthday, or blank designs will be what's on tap. A fun & unique type of card! Sold in packs of 5 or 10. Singles available at events as well.

I am always creating and constantly adding to my unique line of postcards. Points of interest from wherever I find an interesting, fascinating, funny or compelling shot. Postcards are still such a great way to let someone know you're thinking of them, and there will always be something for everyone. 

From t-shirts to sweatshirts to hats/beanies. Official Rawhide's Tintypes merch with designs that will come and go. At a festival, but forgot your sweatshirt and are freezing? Sun beating down on your dome and need to free yourself from The Burn? Or, you just realize the t-shirt I've got hanging up is something that needs to be on you?  Everything is high quality, and I don't price these to make a profit. I would be humbled to see someone rocking some Rawhide swag. 

I'll occasionally have what is known as "Hobo Plates" available. What's a hobo plate, you ask? It's where I have sourced the metal the photo is made from, from an unusual, rare or unexpected place...then the plate is cut to the right size, and "hand japanned" (see below). There might be a design on the back of your metal plate from a road sign, antique tin, vintage soup can, or maybe even an old VW bus. Included will be an image & history of the original source. One of my favorite things to do!
